As Travel Wisconsin states, "An exotic and eclectic creation of collections, displays, and galleries, House on the Rock is a dazzling retreat built in 1960 by Alex Jordan atop a chimney of rock in scenic Southern Wisconsin." Dazzling is certainly one of many, many words we could use to describe this property. Located in Spring Green, Wisconsin, HOTR is an enticing and must-see attraction in our home state, and the history behind it is just as intriguing. Come with us as Sav gives Kate the lowdown on fantastic carousel creatures, a 200 ft sea monster, too many doll houses to count, intricate automated music machines, serene Japanese gardens, and more collections/inventions that any person could ever list. Seriously.

While many true crime fans already know all the details of this case, we will give you the first-time reaction of Wisco Girl, Kate. We'll also give some perspectives on this story from a Wisconsinite's POV growing up in the rural parts of this state.
So come with us as we dive into Eddy Teddy's home life, up-bringing, and what eventually led him to think it was a good idea to try and recreate his mother via human flesh.

Hey there Cheeseheads! We are back with the second part of our Wisconsin Supper Clubs tale. Didn't think we'd make you wait too long, did ya?
Today's episode will give a more in-depth history of the development of Wisconsin Supper Clubs, the impact prohibition had on our drinking culture that ultimately led to what is the Wisconsin Old Fashioned, and how brandy became our liquor of choice.
Finally, and our favorite, we discuss how these dining establishments became the perfect hideout for Chicago Mobsters on the lam. We'll talk about a few supper clubs that were impacted by these gangster shenanigans, ending with an in depth retelling of an account that went down in American history as one of the most botched FBI raids to date— the story of John Dillinger and Little Bohemia Lodge. Buckle up!
