On this week's podcast, I talked with Eric Falkner, the CEO of Wisconsin Hero Outdoors. Their mission is to help connect Veterans, First Responders and their families to outdoor activities in Wisconsin.

Spring offers many first for anyone who loves getting outdoors.  Why do we seemingly overlook those first and brush them off as if they’ve been here all year long?  I’m here to remind you of some of those first of springs.

On this week's podcast I talked with Sarah and Diana from Women Hiking Wisconsin.  They along with three other women from Wisconsin, formed a hiking group exclusively for women.  They provide a safe and fun way for women of all ages to get out and explore Wisconsin.

In my opinion, the Wisconsin County Parks systems are very under rated and often overlooked as destinations for anyone who’s looking to get in the Wisconsin outdoors.  They are the perfect place to plan a day trip and often offer as much or more than our state parks. On this week's podcast, I talk about how you can make the most of your county park visit.

There are certain things that I absolutely love about spring and then there are some things that I could really do without. On this week's podcast I share my three things that I like and dislike about spring in Wisconsin.

Imagine challenging yourself to get outside everyday for at least 15 minutes. No matter if it's 90 degrees, raining, snowing or in the middle of a polar vortex. This is the time of year that spring fever sets in and all I want to do is get outside and do something. To help with that, our family decided to take a short trip to Merrill and visit our first State Park of the Year, Council Grounds State Park.
