Wisdom Inspired Coaching Call

In Matthew 5:37, KJV, Jesus said, “Let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil”.

As entrepreneurs and business owners, people must be able to trust that you’re a person of high integrity, when that happens, they’re more likely to do business with you. Because they know you’re a person who stands by their word. They know your word is bond.

It comes down to the value and weight of your word. Being reliable and dependable when communicating with anyone indicates a high degree of insight that allows you to leverage yourself and your views, above others.

In order to leverage your inherent value, skills, and potential, you’re demonstrating that you can speak authentically and follow through with what you are promising. Whether it’s in a paid proposal, or even saying you will be able to start work at a certain time.

Stewardship is not only about our finances, it's how we live. A steward is the one that catches the vision of the owner of his own. In this episode, we explore the topic Vision of a Steward and how obedience is the regulator.

Our overarching theme for this week is about living in relationship with God. We touched on assignment or appointment which comes first and we understood that as a steward you know our assignment comes once we have been appointed many times. Society has us seeking our assignment and telling us that we need to know what that is.

God appoints you and when he appoints you he takes you on a path that has various assignments leading to the Divine assignment. We looked at Joseph and Abraham and we got a better clarity about that.  Assignments come as a result of God appointing us. It's not anything that we need to seek after. A steward is not the owner of his life. Your life is a gift that's been given to you you're not the owner of it you're simply a Steward. A steward is one that catches the vision of the owner.

We live in a time where so many are seeking our assignment. What's important to know is that your assignment comes after your appointment. Do not negate understanding of this process.

The lesson of the fig tree is that we should bear spiritual fruit (Galatians 5:22-23), not just give an appearance of religiosity. God judges fruitlessness and expects that those who have a relationship with Him will “bear much fruit” (John 15:5-8). In your Assignment, that task or problem that you were created to solve. He expects it to bear fruit.

Colossians 3:23-24 Paul writes:

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”

Most of you listening on the call are entrepreneurs and your business is your assignment. Whether you work for yourself or another company, know that as you yield to Christ as your Lord and Savior, your assignment will yield to you.

Today, we’re gonna look at a man named Shamgar. In the book of Judges 3:31. I recently learned of his story and how his obedience resulted in an extraordinary life of impact. When we stop rebelling in the rush and live in obedience to God, we can live extraordinary lives… one with a powerful impact.

Although God will give you various assignments to fulfill, the purpose of these assignments is to advance the will of God on the earth. And that’s how you can be assured that you’re in your assignment. Ask yourself, Is this advancing the will of God? Are you serving others?

Today’s topic is Rebellion in the Rush. By definition, Rebellion is being in opposition to authority. Rebellion can become violent but it can also remain unexpressed. It’s important to know that Rebellion always begins in the heart.

Rebellion against God’s authority was humanity’s first sin (Genesis 3) and continues to be our downfall. Our sinful natures do not want to bow to the authority of another, even God. We want to be our own bosses, and that rebellion in the human heart is the root of all sin (Romans 3:23) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
