Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 25. I will then introduce you to my special guest for the day - Steve Phillips. Steve is the Associate Pastor of Gulf to Lake Church located in Crystal River, Florida. Steve is one of the team I've selected to share their testimony twice a year. On today's podcast he will share the verse from Proverb 25 which spoke to him today (verse 8). He will then describe what it is to live the life as an Associate Pastor of a church. He is, in essence, a jack of all trades. He will then describe a cruise which he and his wife took during the Covid pandemic of 2020. He will close with an invitation to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior.

I will then key in on verses 3 & 4 - Through wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established; By knowledge the rooms are filled With all precious and pleasant riches. Friends, if you gain knowledge, use understanding, and acquire wisdom God will bless you. As we begin a new week I will review the three points I brought up on last Thursday's podcast (Episode #774 - if you did not get a chance to tune in, I invite you to do so). We will then continue our study of the Book of Ephesians. Today we will be covering Chapter 4, verses 7-10. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ's gift.

2. When God delivered His people from Egypt, He brought them out with great treasures from the Egyptians.

3. At the name of Jesus every knee should bow, those in heaven above, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth.

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 21. I will then key in on verse 3 - To do righteousness and justice Is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. Friends, God wants more than anything that we are sincere and obedient to God and to His word. On today's lesson I will continue our study of keys to becoming a mature Christian. This will be the 5th lesson on this study. I will review what we have already discussed: 1. To become a mature Christian you first need to become a Christian. You need to say the sinner's prayer. Then I mentioned that the devil will immediately come to you and tell you that you don't "need" this "Christian" nonsense - but that's a lie. Next we spent the past two Friday's going over the importance of our words, and how we should only speak if we have thought out and spent time thinking about what you're actually going to say. On today's lesson I will give scriptural reference to the pact that the word of God is important and that it is beneficial for you. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. Desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby.

2. Thie Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night.

3. Be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 20. I will then key in on verse 5 - Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water, But a man of understanding will draw it out. Friends, this refers to seeking counsel - and there may be some people tuning in today who go to counseling. The only suggestion that I have is that if you are to go to counseling, make sure that they are Christians. Psalm 1 warns us that we are only to seek counsel from them. I will begin today's podcast by reviewing the three points brought up on yesterday's lesson (Episode #773 - if you did not get a chance to tune in, I invite you to do so). We will then continue our study of the Book of Ephesians, going over Chapter 4, verses 5 & 6. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into the body.

2. All people equally can become Gos's heirs and recipients of His eternal promises.

3. Christians can know intimacy with the Father because of the indwelling Spirit.

Call to action - Are you careful who you seek counsel (or advice) from? Psalm 1 tells us to only seek counsel from Godly people.

I will then key in on verse 21 - There are many plans in a man's heart, Nevertheless the Lord's counsel - that will stand. Friends, we are to put our trust in Jesus. On today's podcast I will begin by reviewing the three points I had brought up on Monday's podcast (Episode #771 - if you didn't get a chance to tune in, I invite you to check it out). Today we will continue our study of the book of Ephesians. We will be going over Chapter 4, verses 3 & 4. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. There is one body and one Spirit.

2. But above all these things, put on love, which is the bond of perfection.

3. We are to demonstrate God's love for us by loving others in our world today.

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 18. I will then introduce you to my special guests for the day - Rex and Karen Roney. Rex & Karen were a couple Judy & I met while we were at Charis Bible College in Colorado and are actually in our house visiting us during their time in Florida. On today's podcast they each will share the verses from Proverb 18 that they would like to discuss. We will then get into the mission trip that they just returned from. They were there for two months & have plenty to say about witnessing and sharing the love of God to the Buddhist people. They will then go into what they are currently doing since they returned on their mission trip. Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 17. I will then key in on verse 27 - He who has knowledge spares his words, And a man of understanding is of a calm spirit. This verse talks of two things: 1. If you have knowledge then you are to think about the words that you will speak prior to opening your mouth; 2. If you have understanding then - when you hear of news for the first time that you do not overreact, but act in a calm or reserved manner. On today's podcast I will review the three points I had introduced on Thursday's podcast (Episode #769 - if you didn't get a chance to tune in to that podcast, I invite you to do so). I will begin today's lesson by rereading the first two verses of Ephesians, Chapter 4. I will then go over a passage of scripture which solidifies (or backs up) these two verses - found in the Book of Philippians, Chapter 2: verses 5-8. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. We are to have the mind of Christ.

2. Christ was fully Bod, but He limited Himself in such a way that He could also be completely human. In Christ God became man.

3. In reality He was a amn, possessing all the essential aspects of a human being, although unlike all others He was sinless.

Ask yourself these questions:

1. Do you feel as though you have the mind of Christ?
