Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 14. I will then key in on verse 5 - A faithful witness does not lie, But a false witness will utter lies. Friends, this verse is a reminder that God absolutely hates lying. Lying is not OK under any circumstances. We should simply tell the truth - regardless of the consequences. I will begin today's podcast by reviewing the three points I introduced on last Thursday's podcast (Episode #789 - If you did not get a chance to tune in I invite you to do so). We will then go over the first two verses of Ephesians, Chapter 5. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. Be imitators of God, as dear children.

2. We are to live so as to be dedicated totally to God.

3. We are to God the fragrance of Christ.

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 11. I will then key in on verse 8 - The righteous is delivered from trouble, And it comes to the wicked instead. Friends, if we are living a righteous life trouble simply will not come our way. On today's podcast I will begin by welcoming those joining me for today's podcast. 1. We overcome by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of our testimony.

2. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

3. We now have love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.

Friends, a number of verses in the Book of Proverbs differentiates those who are lazy with those who are not. This verse reminds us that we are to be diligent and work hard in our lives. I will begin today's podcast by reviewing the three points which I introduced to you on yesterday's podcast (Episode #788 - If you did not get a chance to check it out, I invite you to do so). I will then continue our study of the Book of Ephesians. Today we will be completing Chapter 4. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil be put away from you.

2. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

3. It is more bless to give than to receive.

I will then key in on verse 8 - Do not correct a scoffer, lest he hate you; Give instruction to a wise man, and he will love you. Friends, this verse often separates the difference between a Christian and one who doesn't see the need to invite Jesus into their hearts. A Christian tends to be humble, while a scoffer ordinarily is filled with pride. On today's podcast I will begin by reviewing the three points I introduced on Monday's podcast (Episode #786 - if you didn't get a chance to tune in to that episode, I invite you to check it out). I will then continue our study of the Book of Ephesians, going over Chapter 4, verses 29 & 30. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification.

2. We should behave and speak differently once we become Christians.

3. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 8. I will then introduce you to my special guest for the day - Stan Soelman. Stan is a repeat guest to the podcast & we will be picking up where we left off the last time he was on (Episode #642 - September 17, 2024). He will begin by sharing a bit about Proverb 8. This whole chapter talks about the importance of having wisdom in your life. He will then talk briefly about going to Bible college, how he met his wife, and how he became a tuner of pianos. God literally gave him the desire of his heart (Psalm 37:4) - Delight yourself therefore in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Stan had a desire to be able to play the piano, and the Lord gave it to him. He now does that everyday as his main occupation. He will close by inviting anyone that does not know the Lord into their heart.

These verses talk about how we can prevent ourselves from falling into the trap of immorality. I will then continue our study of the Book of Ephesians. Today we will be going over Chapter 4, verses 20-28. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. We are to put on the new man which was created according to God.

2. Do not let the sun go down on your wrath (anger).

3. We afre to be generous at all times (Acts 20:35).
