Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over proverb 4. I will then key in on verses 14 & 15 - Do not enter the path of the wicked, And do not walk in the way of evil. Avoid it, do not travel on it, Turn away from it and pass on. Friends, we are to avoid evil at all costs. As Christians we are to live righteous lives, and not evil consider being involved in any type of evil. To begin this podcast I will review the three points I had brought up two weeks ago, on March 21st. Those three points had to do with the importance of reading scripture on a regular basis. Doing so will literally change your lives. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. Submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

2. The whole armor of God is the believer's protection against evil and the evil one.

3. Without prayer, all the armor in the world would be of no use.

Friends, if we are righteous Christians, we will inherit glory - if we choose not to receive Jesus, we will have shame as a shadow in our lives. On today's podcast I will begin by reviewing the three points I made on yesterday's podcast (Episode #783 - I invite you to check this out if you get a chance). We will then continue in our study of the Book of Ephesians. By the end of today's podcast there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. We should always speak the truth in love.

2. Every single one of us has an important role to play in our Christian walk.

3. We are now to walk in love, in light, and in wisdom.

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 2. I will then key in on verse 6 - For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding. Friends, I began this podcast because the Holy Spirit asked me to begin in. He told me that everyone in the world needs wisdom. This particular podcasts begins the fourth year of this podcast. What I've learned is that the Lord wants each of us to have knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. The only way we will get those is to open the Bible up and read in for ourselves. On today's podcast I will continue our study of the Book of Ephesians. Today we will go over verses 11-14 of Chapter 4. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. Gifted leaders are responsible for the equipping of the saints.

2. The church needs to work diligently at moving babes in Christ on to maturity.

3. Having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.

Judy will then share the verse that spoke to her today (verse 20) & I will share verse 33 - But whoever listens to me (Wisdom) will dwell safely, And will be secure, without fear of evil. We will then update our testimonies- how going to Charis Bible college changed the course of our lives, and Judy's reflection about my transition from a carnal person to a Christian. I will stress the importance of understanding the fact that once you become a Christian, that you do NOT change overnight. It is a lifelong journey.

I will then key in on verses 30-31 - Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands, And let her own works praise her in the gates. Friends, the key point of these two verses are the words - "a woman who fears the Lord." If a woman does not fear the Lord, she will not be a Christian, and she will not do the things the woman of Proverb 31 does. On today's podcast I celebrate the ending of my third year of producing this podcast. Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill & Judy Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 28. Judy & I will then share the verses which spoke today'. We will then talk about a recent trip we took this past week to the beautiful state of Tennessee. I got to play golf in the mountains (while Judy drove the golf cart), we went into some underground caverns, and also explored the town of Gatlinburg. Judy will discuss a couple opportunities I tool advantage of to pray for two young ladies who, not only received our prayers, but were very appreciative of the fact that they did receive prayer. We will go over our St. Patrick's dinner which Judy cooked for her daughter and her family. Judy then went into detail about the importance of reading the word of God and, when God places a particular verse on your heart, you look it up and revelation will usually follow. I will then give a brief update about my podcast & Judy will close us in prayer.

Friends, we each need at least one person (of the opposite sex) that we can confide in, or pray with, when issues in life come up and it troubles you in some way. On today's podcast I will begin by reviewing the three points I brought up on yesterday's podcast - (Episode #778 - if you did not get a chance to tune in to that podcast, I invite you to do so). We will then continue our study of the Book of Ephesians. Today we will be going over Chapter 4, verses 11-13. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. Some are called to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and some teachers.

2. We should place our confidence not in ourselves, but in the Lord.

3. We are able ministers of the gospel, and ordered top share the good news.

Call to Action - Ask yourself this question - do you have someone (of the same sex) that you are close to that you can confide in, pray with etc. about serious issues which sometime come up in our lives? If the answer to that is no, I suggest that you pray to God and ask Him to bring someone into your life that could fill that role.

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 26. I will then key in on verse 28 - A lying tongue hates those who are crushed by it, And a flattering mouth works ruin. Friends, this verse tells us that our words cna bring great harm to people - especially if you make up stuff about people you know that isn't true. The second part of that verse is a warning that you should consider when people try to butter you up and tell you how great you are. You need to be discerning and consider their motives. On today's lessonI will begin by reviewing the three points that I had brought up on Monday's podcast (Episode #776 - if you didn't get a chance to check that out, I invite you to do so). I will then go over three scripture passages which solidify those three points. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all.

2. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up.

3. The second coming of Christ and the establishment of His kingdom will occur the same way Jesus ascended: physically, visibly, and in the clouds.
