Wisecrackin’ with Winter

Xtra! Xtra! Read all about it. Virus attacks Winters! The Funhouse is on lockdown as the pandemic more commonly known as the Mambo #5 virus has hit home. Mike is trapped in his dad’s basement. Emma is trapped at her mom’s house. Producer Paul is free to leave his house, but where would he go? So, Emma & Paul phone in for a discussion on virus testing, symptoms, etc.

Paul hosts a game show to determine whether Mike or Emma knows Minnesota trivia. It looks like Alex Trebek just couldn’t stand to go on in a world without Sean Connery. I don’t know if it gets discussed in this episode, but since they come in threes, I’d expect another celebrity to fall soon.

Week 10 NFL games weren’t quite in the books at the time of recording, but I can tell you that Paul & Mike are still running pretty much neck and neck in the standings. Emma joins in for the Week 11 picks to see if she can maintain her mastery as a guest picker.

Everyone Shut Up & Vote

Mike brings Victoria Herringone into the Funhouse to talk filling holes and licking flaps. They also discuss the different ways to cast your ballot.

Victoria institutes a no political talk rule for the episode, but Mike still manages to tell Victoria that Joe Biden is ahead and Iowa and that Joe leads by eight points in national polls. Victoria celebrates 20 years of being a Minnesota resident. Yay!

It’s Mike’s Birthday!

This is really the one you’ve been waiting for, literally. It’s been like five weeks. Maybe you listened to the live Wisecrackin on Periscope a few weeks ago. But still, it’s been too long. Well, Mike’s back, and you know he’s got plenty to say.

Mike calls up Producer Paul (me) and they (we) talk about this, that, and the other. Is social media destroying our country? We review the trending Netflix documentary The Social Dilemma. It’s so neat to find out how they track everything you look at and then feed you more and more and more of it.

I know we discuss some other good stuff too, but my memory fails me a bit. But I do remember Mike telling me afterward that it was a good show, so you oughta dig it. Oh yeah, there’s a new segment called “Am I The A-Hole?” Let us know what you think.
