Wish We Never Met

Wish We Never Met comedian and TV host Alan Shane Lewis? Listen to this episode of WWNM and find out!

The Great Canadian Baking Show co-host joins Amy and Dan to talk about his love of The Simpsons, his interesting career arc that includes success as a comedian, writer, and TV personality, and a lot more.

His “Wish I Never…” story has ties to SNL and Paul Rudd. It’s hilariously awkward, and you’ve gotta hear it!

The co-hosts also chat about the difference between Muppets and Sesame Street Puppets (Dan thought they were the same), how "all the kids" are vapping these days, and MasterChef Canada being rebooted...and does anyone care?

Wish We Never Met Amy and Dan? You bet! Here’s what’s on the agenda for this episode of WWNM:

Are White Claws (finally) out? The co-hosts say yes—while sipping on some refreshing Happy Dads (not sponsored, but they wish!)

Having a favourite kid out of all of your friends’ offspring is not something everyone is willing to admit, but Dan has no qualms about it after a recent trip home to Saskatoon.

Lastly, there’s a lot of great Canadian music out lately including a new one from the east coast icon Kim Stockwood, which has the co-hosts reminiscing about their first concert experiences.

Wish We Never Met art rocker Kue Varo? You’ll need to listen to the new episode of WWNM to find out!

Before co-hosts Dan and Amy dive into all things pleasantries, witchcraft, and music-making with the award-winning performer Kue Varo, they discuss one of life’s biggest disappointments: spinach salad.

Why IS spinach salad THE worst? (Lots to unpack here.)

Amy takes a hard left from salad talk to her thoughts on Disneyland and Disney adults. Is Dan a Disney adult? (The answer is clear.)

Wish We Never Met TV host and comedian Ann Pornel? Listen to the new episode of WWNM to find out!

Before the hilarious co-host of The Great Canadian Baking Show joins Amy and Dan to share her "Wish I never..." story (waterfalls and cliffs, oh my!), the duo talk a bit about celebrity drag queens like Bob the Drag Queen and Laila McQueen and how far the drag industry has come in the past 10+ years. As well, Amy shares a farily horrific stomach flu story that will surely leave her twins scared for life.

Also, raccoons in Toronto are a real vibe, and as Ann Pornel shares, one has infiltrated the GCBS tent for Season 8. :$

Wish We Never Met wasps? WHO DOESN'T?! Here's what's on the agenda for this episode of WWNM:

JUNO-Award-winning jazz pianist and vocalist Michael Kaeshammer joins Amy and Dan to chat about the new season of his music-meets-food TV series Kaeshammer's Kitchen, touring around the world, and why there's much to love about living on Vancouver Island.

The co-hosts also discuss the world's collective hatred for wasps (and waspy people!), and ponder why wasps were so bad in Canada these past few weeks. (Amy even got stung while performing at Calgary Pride. Seriously!

Looking back on the CCMA Awards, Amy and Dan also talk about how exciting it was to see k.d. lang inducted into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame, and how her stage presence is truly unparalleled. Icon status!

Wish We Never Met actor Phil Burke? Listen to the new WWNM episode to find out!

The multi-faceted actor and producer joins Amy and Dan from Toronto (taking a break from the TIFF whirlwind) to share a “Wish I never texted…” tale before chatting about his past work on the acclaimed series Hell on Wheels—where he met Amy—and how transitioning into the role of a producer is an exciting evolution for a professional actor.

With the Canadian Country Music Awards currently underway in Edmonton, Amy and Dan touch on all things CCMA Awards and Hailey Benedict’s recent signing to Big Loud too. Very cool!

Denny also opens up about just how cool MuchMusic's Electric Circus was back in the day, as well as how her most iconic songs have taken her all around the globe, and continue too. She also chats about how the new countrified version of "Superstar" came to be, and that she's got some new music on the way too!

Wish We Never Met each other? ALWAYS! (But listen to the new WWNM episode anyway.)

It’s been quite the week for Amy Hef and Dan Clapson and their schedules show no sign of slowing down until the end of September. Still, the two take time to spar on-air and discuss everything from being hit on by bartenders (it’s rare, but it happens!), new hair systems vs. going to Turkey for “the works”, the problem with Facetune and more.

Amy also puts Dan in the hot seat and asks how he wound up becoming a food writer/cookbook author, as well as some of the worst restaurant reviews he’s written over the years. (DYK Dan used to be mean?!)

Speaking of memories, co-hosts Amy Hef and Dan Clapson also chat about the bittersweet upside of funerals, old-school board games (did you play Nightmare too?), walkie-talkies, and more.
