The subtitle for this episode might just be "The Blood Magic of the Patriarchy" or "Resistance in the Face of a Witch Hunt" because this book managed to be not just a really fun read about a historical period for Scotland, but also a facilitator of conversation about the struggles of living in the version of America that is on fire. Also, we talk about Sinners and how y'all should watch that (not Gemini though, she's soft)!
