The Junior League of Houston- The JLH is a nonprofit organization that donates over $2 million dollars a year into their community through donations, hands on projects, and grants. They work with over 30 community partner organization and they are collecting donations in which they will dispearse to their partners as their needs arise. https://www.jlh.org/…
The Covenant House of Houston-Covenant House of Texas provides shelter to homeless, trafficked, abused and abandoned youth ages 18-20. They are currently opening their doors to as many youth displaced by this storm as they can. Donations will go towards helping them shelter and feed the youth https://www.covenanthousetx.org/donate
Austin Pets Live- One of Austin's largest animal rescue is currently taking in animals rescued from Harvey. They have already taken in over 200 animals and they will take in as many as they can and help find temporary housing for the rest they physically cannot handle. https://www.austinpetsalive.org/
The Way Home Houston-a partner of The Houston Coalition for the Homeless (the lead agency for coordinating community response to homelessness) is collecting donations to help displaced homeless during the storm. As some of the hardest hit, these homeless families, induvidiuals, and veterans have no place to go. The Way Home will use donations
