Len Brackett was a founding practitioner and resident in the Reed College Zen house where people could come and practice zazen. I met him at Tassajara in 1967. He practiced Zen and learned temple carpentry in Japan and founded East Wind Inc in the US, a company that built traditional Japanese homes and so forth.
