With Miska

Ida Metsberg!

This is a quick one. About 20 minutes. We talk in my car as we are driving to Venice Beach, California, to play on Venice Boardwalk.

Ida’s With Miska episode can also be found on YouTube channel With Miska Podcast Episodes:

https://youtu.be/UU1YEeP3bGc?si=BSb6QikAhVnbRpHt

Ida is a Finnish Singer-Songwriter living in New York. She has been in the US for 13 years, and she’s making it happen.

We talk about how Ida ended to the US, and also how she got her visa. She gives wonderful advice on getting a visa as an independent artist.

She shares her experiences being an artist in New York, and how she is able to make everything work. And she talks about her career goal playing only her own music to audiences.

Ida was also chosen to be Performer of the Year for Finlandia Foundation National in 2023. I had the same title in 2024.

Ida’s California Tour is supported by Finlandia Foundation National. As is this podcast episode.

Ida is also available to do living room shows, anywhere near you!

A wonderful talk!

TEURiS! This episode is in Finnish.

TEURiS is a Finnish stand-up comedian who's been working for years. He also produces many shows in Finland.

I have known TEURiS for a long time, and always admired his excellent writing skills. His jokes are very economical. Basically there are no extra words in his jokes. Which is something I'm really trying to work on to better myself.

TEURiS has created an unique 40-minute stand-up comedy special TEURiS Ex Machina, which incorporates scripted movie-style story intertwined with his live stand-up show.
TEURiS Ex Machina will be released soon. You will be able to soon find the screening dates on TEURiS' website and social media channels:
www.teuris.com

We talk about joke writing, working as a stand-up comedian, producing shows, Finnish stand-up scene, and much more! TEURiS also gives some tips to comedians from a producer's point of view.
