Nate and April are back and actually have some big updates. The farm had its first predator attack, 75 meat birds are now in the freezer after chicken processing day, and the garden is in full swing

Here's another solo episode! April is finally feeling reinvigorated about the farm again, thanks all the delicious home grown food the family has been making lately. She talks about the mystery chicken on the farm, how DE is used for worming/pest control, and how happy she is that the second batch of meat birds are on pasture

After a long week of illness, Nate is almost ready to get back to normal on the farm. April has been picking up the slack which is a surprise for everyone, but the show must go on. A new ram will be arriving next weekend, there was an egg fail this week, and pig prep will be beginning soon

Oops its been a month. Thanks for bearing with us for the past few weeks! We survived the worst stomach bug of all time and got very behind in all things farming. We bought a ram, completed our first cornish cross butcher day, hatched out two Bresse chicks, and are drowning in chickens.
