Better late than never! This week April is in a much better mood. As spring approaches, Nate and April are boosting farm marketing - especially day old chick orders. The couple discusses their experience assisting a chick while hatching and the ethics to consider when doing so. April finally gives a real garden update and Nate shares thoughts on the sheep.

Fun drinking game - Take a shot every time Nate talks over April or every time April says "mmhmm" condescendingly. If you are able to listen through the bickering, the couple discusses the most recent hatching, as well as more details to the upcoming breeding plan. Nate and April successfully saved a newborn lambs life, the first chicks hatched on the farm, and the rain won't stop. Nate also stopped by the farm auction to sell two hairsheep (and came home with a rooster)

Nate and April encountered their first problem child of the lambing season. The lamb was hypothermic and unable to nurse, so they had to step in and tube feed him. It is also lockdown day for the first batch of hatching eggs. Lots of chicks will be here soon!

April and Nate share this crazy week's updates. There was a snow storm at the farm and none of the animals are happy about it - especially the newborn twin lambs that were just born. The couple also gives a chicken AND garden update.

A lot has changed in the past week. Nate and April have changed their tune about a lot of farm ventures. They said they'd never raise meat chickens or pigs.... but never say never. Big plans for the rest of the year - thats for sure.

2021 has already been quite busy! After the great sheep escape (check out last episode for more info) Nate has been busy making a crap ton of gyro meat. (10:03) April got to watch the first birth of the lambing season and picked up an egg incubator all in the same day. (30:28) The couple also talks about their plans to visit Felts Farm this weekend to help butcher some cows.
