Within The Mist

During the spring break of 1975, most teenagers were celebrating their temporary freedom from school by hanging out with their friends until the late hours of the nights.

For the small town of Dover, Massachusetts three separate encounters with a very unusual creature would change what they believed roamed the woods surrounding them.

This week, we are introduced to the Dover Demon.

Many ghost stories take place in creepy old mansions or within dark forests and that is where the ghost stories remain. However, one true spirit of a murdered young woman extended into the courtroom where her testimony was admitted as evidence and utilized to convict the man who had murdered her. Forever after, she is known as the Greenbrier Ghost.

Logic tells us that dolls are inanimate objects without the ability to move, speak or cause things to happen. But we’ve all experienced it: that feeling that something or someone was watching us; that an inanimate object had come alive.

In Key West, many have not only experienced that feeling, but have also witnessed it.

This week we look at the most famous haunted doll in the world - Robert The Doll.

In the swamplands of Florida’s Everglades there is said to live a large, shaggy, man-beast (putting it into the same category as Bigfoot, Sasquatch, or the Yeti).  This Florida version, however, is distinct because of its terrible smell and elusive behavior.  Though there have been many sightings over the years within the Florida everglades but no definitive proof of the creature we discuss known as the Skunk Ape.
