Introducing Wives Not Sisters Podcast with wlw couple Alix Tucker and Kayla Nielsen

Hi! We're Kayla and Alix. We're married, not sisters (even though that's what most strangers assume for some reason) and welcome to Wives Not Sisters, a podcast about relationships, but not just the romantic kind. We talk friendships, messy family dynamics, situationships, and most importantly: the relationship you have with yourself. 

Some days we're diving deep into life's big stuff like grief, identity, or boundaries.  And other days we're sharing our hot takes on viral internet lore, queer culture, or those silly moments in marriage that you can't help but to laugh at.

Our show rides the wave of serious to silly and everything in between, because life doesn't come in categories. It can be playful and painful and awkward all in one day which is why we want to talk about ALL of it.

We started this show for a few reasons: because us queers are always starving for more representation, because being married and a little boring isn't actually a death sentence for fun or individuality when you find the right person, because we want to make you smile at least once today, and because sometimes you need to hear someone say the thing you've been quietly thinking in order to realize, "Oh, I guess I'm not the only one!"

Whether we're talking marriage, break ups, friend drama, or celebrity buzz we're always bringing it back to the human stuff. We're here to make you laugh, to make you feel seen, and to build a community of people who are figuring it out, just like us.
