  • Alyson Williams on Brunch In The Basement With JaVonne
Alyson Williams is a name that we all know, if we know anything at all about R&B and sexy vocals. Ms. Williams has had a string of hits, including but not limited to some hot dance tunes,  but the one that always calls to me personally is "Just Call My Name", just thinking of that song and her delivery gives me chills!  I've recently had the honor of seeing her perform in Harlem at the Apollo as well as in Philadelphia and when I tell you her voice is still outstanding and her performance is amazing, believe what I'm saying! Be sure to listen in as she talks about her career and what to expect from her in the new year!

  • Phil Perry for Christmas Brunch In The Basement With JaVonne
This show will have a little pre Christmas flair and a lot of beautiful music as we welcome back friend of the show, the incomparable, Phil Perry! As vocalist and composer Phil Perry’s flawless falsetto, velvety smooth pipes and keen musical sensibilities have made him one of the greatest voices in R&B. It is no wonder why Down Beat Magazine once dubbed Perry as “The Pavarotti of Jazz.” The Los Angeles Times raves, “Perry has tremendous range spotless falsetto, and his sheer enthusiasm…amazing pipes,” while Smooth Jazz Magazine declares that Phil’s voice, “consistently oozes that natural sweetness and sincerity that can only come from a singer of his high caliber.” Jazz Times Magazine captured the heart and soul of Phil Perry when they declared that he creates “joyous, romantic magic.” One of the most in-demand singers on the music scene, Perry remains busy and has a list of enviable credits, i.e., Josh Groban, Patti LaBelle, Dionne Warwick, Peabo Bryson, the late George Duke, Quincy Jones, Barbra Streisand, Dave Koz, Bobby Womack, and Rod Stewart. On January 20, 2015 Shanachie Entertainment will release Phil Perry’s eleventh album as a solo artist, and the sixth for the label, A Better Man.
Looking forward to chatting with him, listening to his beautiful music and playing some of his Christmas music as well! So blessed!

  • The G-Spot with Meka Rae: Cheating: To Forgive or Not to Forgive?
    Hi Bedroom Playmates

Join us as we discuss forgiving or not forgiving cheating. Is cheating a deal breaker for you? Do you think that there is no coming back from infidelity? Would you even want to know if your mate cheated on you? Would you forgive your partner for cheating? If so, why or why not? Can a relationship become even better after cheating? Can the trust be formed again? Would you want forgiveness if you cheated on your partner? Is there a difference between you cheating and your partner cheating? Why do men expect to have forgiveness from cheating but they won't forgive their girlfriend if she cheated? Is there a double standard that exists? If you do forgive your spouse what steps should you take to rebuild the relationship?
We look forward to hearing from you!
