In this episode, we discuss what it means to be a black sheep, and what trials, errors, and blessings come when we, as black sheep, seek to claim the spaces within and around us. I discuss situations I have had to go through as a black sheep, and what I have learned and gained from this space. I also discuss other resources that have been helpful in my own black sheep journey, and in embodying my own black sheep archetype. Finally, we pull a card and discuss what it can be inviting for us in terms of walking and existing on the fringe.

What happens when you stop trying to fit yourself into spaces that weren't designed for you? This May forecast uses the Five of Wands and Chenguang: Be Light of Heart to invite you to consider how to use authentic self-expression and the sacred to claim of your rightful space.
All the Fives in the tarot deserve a new look and a new narrative. The Five of Wands is not about simply predicting conflict with others. It is actually a card of being in your spirit's power without apology. Chenguang: Be Light of Heart reminds us that claiming our authentic space creates a natural lightness of being. When we stop trying to fit others' expectations, we discover the bliss that comes from true self-acceptance.

In honoring National Poetry Month, this episode is a discussion of the poem "Poems" by Nikki Grimes, which reflects on the difficulty of sorting through life's memories, emphasizing the value of painful experiences that lead to personal growth.
Then, we discuss the poem's connection to the poet archetype, which seeks truth and meaning in life's moments, and the gem archetype (from the Wild Unknown's Archetype oracle deck), which represents the preciousness and rarity of experiences formed under pressure and darkness.
There is a need, especially in hard times, to find the significance, recognize, and cherish life's gems, even when they emerge from challenging moments, emphasizing the transformative power of pain and the importance of recognizing and valuing life's experiences.

Monthly Forecast: The Knight of Pentacles symbolizes slow, intentional movement, rooted in presence and purpose. It encourages mindfulness and practical support for oneself. Gaia's Dragon represents harmonious balance between earth and air, masculine and feminine, and practical and spiritual aspects. A shared theme with both of these cards is the significance of grounding through daily practices, ritual, and adapting to seasonal changes.

In this episode, we are discussing the intersection of the climate crisis and the feminine and marginalized communities. This episode highlights the profound impact of the climate crisis on marginalized groups, particularly women, the LGBTQIA+ individuals, people of color, and the disabled.
This episode emphasizes the need for global policy changes and individual actions to mitigate the crisis. We also discuss the concept of working with the elements as they are, acknowledging environmental degradation. Finally, there is a need to advocate for awareness, interest, and action, and using magickal practices like hexes and bindings to address systemic issues can be helpful for the witch who wants to embrace reality and compassion alongside sacred rage.

This forecast explores deeper meanings of commitment, collaboration, and confrontation, in connection with the Hermit tarot card. The common themes of meditation, solitude, and reflection are incomplete and only scratch the surface of this dynamic Major Arcana card.
This episode also examines the oracle card the Pendragon (Pure, Male Energy), looking at the latter's role in providing and protecting the balance between vulnerability and strength. I encourage you to reflect on your passions and how these cards can guide your spiritual and personal growth.

This episode is another look at connecting poetry to oracle cards, focusing on the poem "Song" by Brenda Cardenas and the card "The Whale" from the Wild Unknown Animal Spirit Deck. The poem describes a profound emotional experience of witnessing whales, evoking themes of presence, expansion, and overcoming fear.
In this episode we discuss the poem's imagery, highlighting the simplicity and beauty of the scene of the whales rising from the ocean. We see how themes of transcendence, awareness, and awakening between both the poem and the oracle card, the Whale. We see invitations for expansion, both internally and externally, and the importance of being fully in the present moment.
Finally, we take away the need for profound peace, noting that it is found amid difficult circumstances and experiences, and the importance of understanding the interconnectedness of all life and the role of compassion and communication in overcoming challenges.

In this episode we discuss the monthly cards for February: the 6 of Pentacles and Wu-Wang (Wild, Pure Heart). These cards speak to fostering our internal wild goodness, and offering that out into the world to create prosperity, growth, generosity. They speak to how prosperity is an internal-external co-creation, emphasizing prosperity, growth, and generosity without necessarily linking it to financial wealth
We also discuss how this forecast highlights the importance of fostering a wild, pure nature within oneself, which can lead to magic and prosperity. Both the tarot and oracle cards call for gratitude, celebration, and collective effort to create change and support prosperity.

This episode is a discussion on some methods for strengthening intuition and magick, emphasizing the importance of imagination and joy. We look into the power of story, myth, and imagination as a way to strengthen intuition, while also acknowledging the need for surrender and trust into the unknown.
Sacred play, joy, story, and dream allow us to build the form and image of something in our minds and hearts, which we then can use when deciphering our intuitive voices. Finally, we discuss the role between spirit and ego, the fear of being wrong, and reflecting without judgment, or toxic positivity.
I am not the only one who is speaking to this topic. Check out:

The monthly cards are here, pulled from the Dragon Tarot deck and the Oracle of the Dragonfae deck, and the cards are the Lovers and the Lady Alfreda: Justice Will Prevail. These cards bring invitations of devotion, sacred connections, reciprocity, and cooperation with the Divine. There are also themes of recognizing the need to relinquish the ego, and merge into cycles of living, life/death, self/other.
These themes help reveal how everything impacts everything, and how the Lovers (not a card of romantic relationships) speaks to deepening us through wisdom and the responsibility of choice into aligning with our particular pursuits and higher alignment.
