This episode explores the poetic and spiritual significance of Sylvia Plath's 'Pursuit,' delving into themes of sexuality, violence, and the primal nature of both. It also examines the dark side of divinity from the dark Divine within the self, and the ways we use and engage that Divinity with tools, like oracle cards, which was the inspiration for this episode.

In this episode, I connect the poem to the animal energy of the Panther in the Wild Unknown Animal Spirit deck, speaking on the shared invitations of purging for self-growth, embracing the shadow- self through vulnerable, erotic self-love, and using the Panther archetype in relation to collective struggle and to make space for a new, brave, prosperous, and vital self.

My goal with this episode is to bring two of my great loves together, and show you how cards like tarot or oracle give super juicy, delicious meanings when we find them in context to the rest of our lives, like a poem.

**Trigger Warning** This poem does have elements of both a sexual and violent nature. If you do not wish to hear the poem, skip ahead to the 8:00 minute mark

Happy New Year! Thanks for listening.

In this episode we conclude the monthly cards of 2020 with truth.

Truth in our spaces. Truth in the mind. Truth in the energy we bring to show up and do the work. The Knight of Swords tarot card and the Mirror oracle card present challenges. They invite us into spaces of perception, reflection, self-love and truth as revolution.

This intense merging may have you feeling exposed, judged, in need of rest. These cards are about getting honest with yourself, with others, and pushing back on systems of oppression that distort the truth of your beautiful nature.

I want to apologize for some audio background or distortion that can be heard around the 30 minute mark. It only lasts about 10 minutes, but still, sorry!

For November, our monthly cards are the 10 of Pentacles and Aletheia (the personified spirit of truth, sincerity, and unconcealedness).

These cards invite you to deepen your actions into your personal truth, to cross the threshold of spiritual embodiment, and gain a perspective of the journey you have gone through to get to this point. The 10 of Pentacles tarot card is about how you embrace new beginnings by acting with mindfulness and intention, transformed from the journey into a new and growing self. Aletheia invites you to remove of the parts of yourself that you hide away. This oracle card from The Wild Unknown Archetypes deck is asking how you can be sincere and upfront in your personal truth?

This episode explores themes behind the tarot and oracle cards for this month's forecast: Judgement and Thanatos (the Greek God or spirit of Death).

Judgement is about a higher interconnection with Divinity, usually through sacred service and devotion. However, Judgement as a tarot card also invites you to consider how your humanity is also divine, and where you can root into your spirit to rise into the divine.

Thanatos is the embodiment of the death-cycle. Not violent or painful, Thanatos is a gentle carrying of the energies and things that need to die off to the Underworld. His brother was the embodiment of sleep, so think of it that way.  This forecast explores letting things go, transforming and evolving in our spirit and self, and acknowledging honest emotions like fear and resistance to the process.

Glamour magick is a form of magick most well-known in folklore with the stories of Changelings, faery babies disguised as and switched with human babies. It was a form of magick used to disguise someone's true form, and elevate a form they wish to take for a specific purpose.

Today, it is seen as a form of magick that manifests self-confidence and magnetism- creating an aligned, vibrant, energetic, and magnetic life. In this episode, I discuss how the heart of glamour magick is building your landscape, both internal and external, through intention and truth.

Archetypes are the original shape, kind, or form of what they symbolize. The Queen as an archetype symbolizes the power in grace, intuition, resolve, trust, stillness, expression, and divinity. Working with the Queen means finding your inner power, and combining it with the channel of divine guidance, to create a world that uplifts and benefits all.

I want to start at the beginning of my tarot journey- why I started reading tarot, how it changed me on a spiritual level, healing wounds within that had been left untreated for a long time. Tarot brought me home- letting me wildly reclaim myself. It helped me find a spiritual and witchcraft practice that has become an anchor for me in the hard times. I still have moments where I feel at edge with myself and the world, but now I have a conduit with tarot and oracle cards that fills me curiosity for how to make the most out of bad situations.

If you are curious about how tarot and oracle cards can help you move through the light and shadows of life, holding true to your sovereignty, this episode will show how it did that for me. If you are dealing with death-cycles, spiritual strain, or looking for your wild within, then keep listening!
