Thankfully the staff at the Detroit Zoo stepped up and took 24/7 care of Zane. Eventually, the other chimps in the Great Apes of Harambee exhibit took to the baby, especially 50-year-old Trixie. Trixie welcomed the baby into her family and they couldn't be happier!
