The transition from behind bars to life on the outside comes with myriad challenges for the formerly incarcerated. But making that change can present an entirely different set of obstacles for women. We talk to one woman who successfully made the journey and another who is helping clear the path for others in a program that offers assistance with housing, job and life skills, trauma recovery, substance abuse treatment and mental health counseling.
