If someone were to ask you to describe your value or worth, how would you answer? Would you think of your career, your life as a mother or wife? 

As part of a weight loss group, the leader asked us to describe a person we valued and thought highly of. Most began describing a person's appearance - how well they cared for themselves, managed their weight, exercised, were always active, etc. Very few mentioned a person's integrity, morality, etc. I thought of my daughter and how healthy she ate, and I finally got around to her continuing her education despite difficult personal obstacles. 

Now, I'm asking you to describe what you value about yourself. How do you think others would answer this question about you?

Is the affirmation list helping you to know how valuable God thinks you are? Prayerfully, today's episode will encourage you to trust His evaluation.

Evaluating Your Circle: Is it Time to Reset Your Core of Influence?

If you're struggling and not making progress with healing your soul wounds, it might be time to evaluate your circle of influence.
Have you ever considered whether you have surrounded yourself with the right people? 

Are you constantly discussing the same issues with the same people, even those in ministry? Have they given you sound advice or just their opinions? 

Sometimes, the ones whom you’ve trusted can be the anchors that hold you back, whether intentionally or unintentionally. Take the time to evaluate your circle and determine if it's time to reset the core of influence. Do it with prayer and let God have His way.
