  • Backpacking tips for beginners, full time van life and maintaining a fitness routine with Bradee (@ponytail_onatrail)

Bradee was born and raised in the Midwest but moved to Colorado in her early 20's. Her mission is to inspire people and to remind them that they can find empowerment from hiking and getting outdoors. Bradee believes in the healing power of the mountains and how they provide a disconnect from all the limits we put on ourselves in everyday life so that we can break the boundaries of self-doubt.

And while Bradee doesn't come from "outdoorsy" background – her passion grows deeper every day. In this episode of Women & the Wilderness, Bradee and I chat all about cultivating a relationship with the outdoors, how she started to hike and backpack, her Fit For Hiking guides, transitioning to full time van life, keeping a routine on the road and so much more!

  • Finding yourself, embracing fear and practicing vulnerability with Taj + Hannah

Switching things up a bit for this episode. I was interviewed by Taj Arora, a London based travel and self-growth digital creator. She recently started the Not So Perfect podcast and had me on as a guest. I wanted to share our episode on Women & the Wilderness because there are a lot of juicy takeaways that I didn't want you to miss out on.

This episode is based around the idea of embracing fear and creating the life you want to live. I never really considered myself fearless, instead I just choose to live without settling. Because, we ain't got time for that! Taj and I chat about the complexities of all those inner workings along with the ups and downs of 2020, self-acceptance and love, body image, travel, self-discovery and so much more.

We talk about Instagram as a highlight reel and how it can directly affect our mental health, the juxtaposition of selling 'the dream' while questioning if this is our dream, comparison, defining freedom, how Instagram has changed the way we travel, consumerism and so much more. • I moved across the country alone

It's true, I packed up my life and left everything I ever knew. I left to chase a dream and didn't hesitate once. In this episode I chat about all the ways in which I cope with being alone. While it isn't always easy to be so far away from everything I've ever known - I lean into the simple fact that this is the one thing I've ever wanted this fiercely. No relationship, trip across the world, or material item could ever replace the joy chasing my dream brings me.

  • Boxing ourselves in and things I wish I knew at 25

In this episode I chat about three main things I wish I knew in my early 20's:

    - In 5 years, your life will look entirely different than you expected it to

    - You will fuck things up and that's okay

    - Stop searching for love

I dive into each of those topics, chat about my personal experience and share some of the lessons I learned along the way.
