This week we're joined by my friend Lesley Murphy; photographer, travel blogger and yoga teacher. Lesley and I met when I entered an Instagram contest she was hosting and the winner would get to travel with her. I'll save the details for the episode, but one would say we were strangers until we met on a Boeing 777.
In a normal year, Lesley lives out of her suitcase- literally. But 2020 had something a little different in store for her. We dive into our whirlwind trip through Asia and how we first met, breast cancer and her double mastectomy, yoga, and how a broken drone led her to meeting her fiancé.

This solo episode is all about Hannah's experience with travel. She didn't start traveling until her early 20's, all thanks to an Instagram contest she entered on a whim. Hannah won the Instagram contest and traveled internationally, for the first time, with a complete stranger.
She talks about that trip and how it altered the rest of her journey, risk taking, and why it's important to put yourself first.

Bucket List with Lesley Instagram Entry
In this episode, Hannah chats about confidence, authenticity and spontaneity and how these three things have always been at her core but she's never really been able to fully embody them, until recently.
She talks about six ways to honor and cultivate those three things and ways to set boundaries. How change is okay and changing your mind about what you want out of this life, IS OKAY. And, the importance of honoring who you are while recognizing your goals and how far you've come.

You Gotta Be by Des'Ree
Arielle Shipe is best known for her adventurous spirit and passion for living life to its fullest which she shares on Instagram and YouTube- oh and those fun GoPro selfies she always posts.
She is a yoga teacher, entrepreneur, content creator, and full-time graduate student getting her masters in Holistic Nutrition. If you can't get ahold of her it's probably because she's somewhere in the mountains with her dog pursuing one of her favorite outdoor activities of climbing, hiking, mountain biking, or skiing/snowboarding. She is a huge advocate for taking care of one's health so you can set big goals and climb big mountains (literally and figuratively).
In this conversation we chat about how she navigated moving through grief, how the loss of her father shifted the way she shows up for herself and others, when she found the confidence to adventure outdoors solo, and postponing her thru-hike of the Pacific Crest Trail.

This week, Hannah discusses the 7 Principles of Leave No Trace. There is a common misconception that leave no trace simply means carrying out what you carried in, when in fact it goes far beyond that. The 7 principles encompass all the ways in which we should responsibly recreate outdoors.
