Parable of the Talents – Today we will work through the Parable of the Talents as we discuss our purpose in life. Every Christian has been given something. It might be an ability or a profession. It might be money or a desire to help people. It might be a passion or hobby. Whatever it is – God wants to use it!!
Today we will be working through the Parable of the Faithful and Unfaithful servant. Throughout the Bible we come across men and women who took their faith serious; who wanted to make God look great no matter what. Today we will see that those are the people who ended up being the most faithful, loyal, steadfast and unmovable in their faith and we need to ask ourselves which category we fit in!
Am I Really A Christian? This is a very important lesson from the Parable of the wheat and the tares! Jesus wants to warn us that Satan has a plan and he is "seeding" his followers into our churches, bible study, and small groups - claiming to be Jesus followers but in reality they are placed there to divide and destroy the true church.
So how does Satan do this? You may be surprised at how covert he is!
