Women's Bible Study

Today we will ask the question “What matters most in our life?” Because as followers of Jesus – the answer should look different than anyone else! Join us for the Parable about a man who God calls a fool – a man who took life easy and didn’t care about others and we will see why as a Christian – that can’t be us!

Join us today with special guest Allen Parr as we talk about building a strong spiritual foundation, just like Jesus said to do in the Parable of the rock and sand, by answering tough questions with Biblical answers! In this session we will discuss what the Bible says about Anxiety, Fear, Depression and much more!

Today with guest Allen Parr we will continue building our strong spiritual foundation by answering questions regarding “Why so many denominations?” “How does God speak to us?” “How does Catholicism differ from biblical Christianity?” and why the Catholic Bible has more books in it and so much more!

Continuing the Parable of the rock and sand, today Allen Parr will help us build our spiritual foundation by learning what the bible says about relationships. We will see what the Bible says about singleness, loneliness, online dating and biblical reasons for divorce and separation and much more!

Today we will work through the parable of a man who has a choice regarding  what foundation to build his house on: the rock or sand. But why does that matter?? The point is that in order to make it through the difficulties in life we need to build our lives on a strong spiritual foundation but the question is:  how do we do that?  Join us to find out!

Today we will work through the parable of the 2 sons. When asked to go to work – one son did what his father asked.  The other refused.  In this parable Jesus is trying to make a point:  He really does care that we know what His will is and then do it!!

Today we will work through the parable about wineskins as we learn why many people are miserable in their Christian life! Reason: we can’t take our old life of sin and shame and guilt and bring it with us over to our new life in Christ!! We will see how Jesus feels about us mixing the old life we used to live and the new life He is offering and why He says it won’t work!

Today we will work through a well known parable – The Sower and the Seeds as Jesus explains that just like a seed has to be planted in good soil....so must the message of Jesus must be planted in the right heart! Is your heart hard and uncaring? Shallow? Crowded by things that don't matter? Or is your heart fruitful and persevering? Jesus will take us through 4 different kinds of hearts and we need to look within ourselves and ask...what heart do I REALLY have?

Join us as we begin our series on the Parables of Jesus as we see what Jesus talked about the most:  the Kingdom of God.  What exactly is that and how does that affect me 2000 years later? You might be amazed to see what that means for us!

Today will be our last day in Revelation as we see the most amazing, incredible future we get to look forward to! From the beginning of creation to the end of time we see where we will spend eternity. As followers of Jesus our future is glorious and exciting and something we should look forward to with anticipation!
