We are formed from the universal cosmic sound. The Vedic seers refer to this Sound as "OM".  This sounds incorporates all sounds. There are trillions of sounds which are endemic to our cosmos that heals. Every cell, memory and tissue is formed from the cosmic sound. Sound Medicine is our natural inner medicine, free and abundantly available in nature. Indeed, sound is central to the very act of creation. Vedic lore tells us that Goddess Durga rode her lion, carried her damaru (a small, double-headed drum whose sound is associated with the element of space), and drummed the world into existence. Sound, as healing force, is a cornerstone of all the great spirit traditions. Consider the idea that life itself emanates from sound, for what is sound but audible breath, the rhythm and melody of the One spirit that dwells within all things? Sound vibration is a manifestation of life energy, and that life energy, or prana, is the basis for self-healing.

Our gender and biological sex is a potent example of this view. Gender differences is but one minute factor in the quintillion variety of nature’s  majestic realm mirrored within the  human person. To heal and reclaim wholeness, it is critical that we embrace the reality of Shiva-Shakti - and note the brilliant multiplicity of  energy which courses within and through each and every human person. This primeval force goes way beyond gender binary to the infinite.

At every moment we can be rejuvenated by nature's sunds, music, the whistling of the wind, the plopping sound of the rains, the gushing waters, the hushed leaves of the autumn.  In my years as a Vedic monk, chanting the Sanskrit mantras on a daily basis kept my vibratory field high and illumined. During those years, I lived in a large pristine forest, chanted with cows, meditated with deer  and basked in the gift of Nature's inner medicine sound healing. Years later, I was to face the profound  experience of being targeted with violence and abuse that relentlessly escorted my life for more than a decade. In this episode I speak to my own expereinces of  fears, its impact of devastating gravitational pull to the lower vortex of darkness and loss and the phenomenal healing journey of  high vibrational sound that reawakened me to life.  May we always remember our blessings even through the dark gravitational pull of fear.  Listen In~

The time has come to rid the false belief system that keeps us mired in a "race" conflict. Maya elucidated the knowledge that we are all formed from an ancient genetic weave that interlaces our blood lines. The taboo of racial divide, racial hatred, bigotry has been paying out for centuries and we have bought into it. Humanity has endured countless invasions, terrorism, violence amongst empires and nations based primarily on "racial divide and varying ideologies. In fact, there has never been a time  when wars, invasions or violence were non-existent.There is burgeoning new evidence from genomic science that is inadvertently proving that we all have indelible blood ties to each other. What if I were to tell you that you are a composition of several genomic factors, and that there is no such thing as as the ethnicity such as being a person who is pure white, black, brown, yellow or red race? Our cultural genealogy is adapted and formed from the various interactions of states' invasions and occupations, trading among nations, vacation tourism, sexual tourism, inter cultural marriages.

Did you know that Africa is not only the cradle of humanity but ancient African genes  may well be imprinted upon at least 2/3 of the world’s population?   Isn't it high time, we set aside our racial differences, embrace our myriad diversity and connect to each other simply as a person of the same humanity?
