The Holy Ghost enables us to fulfill the great commission. We who believe on Jesus as the son of God can have the Holy Ghost present and active in our lives that we carry out the plan and purpose of God. "Joh 16:13  Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come." (KJV)

We continue delving into the part of the Holy Ghost in our growth. Why do we need the Holy Ghost, what is it about the holy ghost, that once we believe on Jesus as the son of God we need this Holy Ghost to be present and active in our lives that we carry out the plan and purpose of God. What part does the Holy Spirit play in our progressing in God?

Correction – while reading 1 Peter 5:25 I continued reading into “Eph 5:26  That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,”  without stating I was reading Eph 5:26.

We learn that the goodness of God leads to repentance and that repentance is powerful and goes beyond salvation.
