Growing up in the Philippines, you are no stranger to kojic, calamansi, and papaya products. EVERYTHING has to be whitening.
When I was younger, it was shoved down my throat that I was an ugly duckling. I can't be beautiful because I have dark skin and I'm not stick thin.
Fortunately, I was exposed to a better environment in college -- a more open and accepting environment perfect for molding young minds.
This episode entails stories of how I was bashed and repeatedly told that I am not up to this society's standard of beauty. But I also share how I feel now and my journey to self-acceptance.
I'd love to know your thoughts about this episode! Please message me or comment on my posts.

Isn't it fun reminiscing what we thought adulting would be when we were younger?
Listen to this light episode as I go back in memory lane, share stories of how I expected adulting to be, and compare it to now.
Do you have any stories you'd like to share? Please message me! I'd love to hear your expectations and how they actually panned out.

Do you still believe that there's good and bad emotions? Let me tell you now that there is no such thing.
I firmly believe that we are entitled to whatever we feel. It's our body's natural response and it's more of a survival thing too. So why are we punishing ourselves for feeling something other than happiness?
We keep searching for things that would make us happy as if it's a drug and we're all addicts. I'm not sure if it's because of everything we see on social media or maybe because we live in a society where not being happy is frowned upon.

She climbed up the ladder in a year in this start-up company and has a great working relationship with everyone on the team. She imparts some lessons and traits you should show to find the client that would fit, like how Gabb and Natalie did.
