Hey folks! Well we’ve finally reached the end of this series. This has been a hard-hitting yet very practical journey that begs the question “Are you a “FAN” of Jesus Christ?” or are you a fully, committed “FOLLOWER?” In this final sermon the question is “Are You Sold Out for Jesus?” Are you willing to give it all to follow Jesus? 1 Cor 13:1–13 is one of the most loved and well-known passages in the Bible, but Paul places it after his teaching on the spiritual gifts for a specific reason. Why did he do that? About the worst thing you can call somebody in Church is a “Pharisee”. The Pharisees were THE “bad guys” in Scripture and seemed to always be the main group that Jesus singled out as examples of who His followers should NOT be like. We don’t want to be Pharisees. When we think of spiritual gifts we often think of talent and the more obvious things like speaking, singing or writing. But there are so many more spiritual gifts that are just as important. The Lord’s Supper—many have heard that name and have experienced it at one time or another in church. The Corinthian’s attitude and behavior toward the Lord’s Supper was causing division and disunity in the church.
