Her missive is to deliver magazines to prisons in order to give those incarcerated Gospel driven hope primarily through the inspiring stories of former inmates who have turned from their sins and now follow Jesus, as well as practical advice on how to cope with life as an inmate and how to lead a life filled with peace, joy, and love. I have many bad memories from New Orleans and have avoided going there like the plague. I believe the entire city is corrupt and under the sway of Satan and is a demonic stronghold of epic proportion. I lived there much of the time I was addicted to drugs and alcohol, committed many crimes, practiced witchcraft and other sins while living there and my brother committed suicide there. One night I went into Jefferson County Prison with some buddies from church to witness to the inmates. Our pastor Kenny Munds did a good job advertising the event as there was standing room only in the auditorium. The inmates sang several songs that moved me deeply, and then our guys performed a few numbers. I get thousands of letters and some of them are just beyond the pale. Atheists, perverts, abortion nuts, you name it write and tell me off year in and year out. I’ve had more than one death threat. One atheist wrote just recently F*** God, F***Jesus, and F*** everything about Christians like you. I admit I wanted to put a fist in his blaspheming mouth and told him so. Lately I feel as though I’ve lost my sense of direction. It is an unusual place for me to be; it seems as though God has withdrawn to a faraway place. I have begun to wonder if there is some strange magnetic field that surrounds me that is akin to a magnet that attracts pyschos. Being a pyscho magnet is interesting but not always fun. If you could take a peek at my email sometime, you would easily recognize that I seem to attract a litany of nuts. I attract unbeliever pyschos the most. Many have been disillusioned by the church and often by what they perceive as the shortcomings of God.
