“Strength for Right Now” is a mid-week prayer designed to meet people exactly where they are — in the middle of responsibilities, pressures, and ongoing demands. Instead of overwhelming the listener with everything ahead, this prayer centers on receiving the strength needed for the present moment. It encourages focus, steadiness, and trust, reminding the listeners that they don’t have to carry the whole week at once — just the next step.

This prayer honors the strength, resilience, and often unseen sacrifices of women. It acknowledges the weight many carry daily — balancing responsibilities, nurturing others.and showing up even when they are tired or overlooked. At the same time, it gently reminds every listener that no effort, no tear, and no quiet act of faith, goes unnoticed by God. This prayer speaks, affirmation, restoration, and encouragement, lifting both women and all who listen, into the awareness they are seen, valued, and deeply cared for. It is a moment of gratitude, recognition, and spiritual renewal.

We are not playing, nor are we being played today, because the prayer “You Were Built For This” reminds listeners the challenges they face are not signs of inadequacy, but opportunities to recognize that God has already placed within them strength, wisdom, the mindset to work through and walk thru, each obstacle. You are not an accident, you are here with purpose. God established it and you to conquer. So, today walk with the power, and courage that God has deposited into you, and win. Go, expecting to win, and don’t quit, until you do.

This prayer is pastoral and speaks directly to the everyday realities people carry — the personal burdens, quiet struggles, unanswered questions, and responsibilities that meet us in daily life. It lifts before God the needs of ordinary people, while also widening the lens to include the concerns of our world, the challenges we face together, and the call from Jesus to live with compassion, accountability, integrity, and as those who have been seasoned by His grace to live faithfully in both our private lives and in world with one another.

This Saturday prayer is a moment of reflection and receiving. After a week of emotional growth, courageous decisions, healing, and reclaiming identity, listeners are invited to slow down and acknowledge the progress they’ve made. “We Have Done The Work … Now We Receive” teaches us that transformation is not only in the doing, but also in the pausing long enough to recognize what has shifted within us. It is a peaceful prayer for honoring growth, receiving progress, and allowing the soul to settle into gratitude.

This prayer is a powerful reminder that diminishing yourself was never part of God’s design for your life. It speaks to those moments when you felt the need to hold back, stay quiet, or make yourself smaller to fit into spaces that could not fully receive who you are. Rooted in the call to “arise and shine”, this prayer invites you to step back into your voice, your presence, and your God-given identity. It encourages healing from past experiences that sought to hide you, while at the same time restoring the confidence to stand fully in who you are meant to be.

This deeply honest prayer creates space for the kind of healing that cannot be rushed or forced. It acknowledges the reality that forgiveness is not easy, not instant, and not always fair — especially when the hurt runs deep. Rather than demanding quick release, this prayer invites listeners to begin where they truly are — whether that place is resistance, pain confusion, or quiet willingness. It reminds us that healing is not a single moment, but a process that unfolds over time. “Let The Healing Begin” is a gentle yet powerful step toward freedom, offering reassurance that even the smallest movement toward release matters — and that we are never alone as we walk through it.

THE STORY BEHIND THE PODCAST:
The vision for “Words For The Soul, Food For The Heart” was born during the Covid-19 pandemic — during a season when the world slowed down, church doors closed, and many people found themselves searching for hope, comfort, strength, and connection. As a pastor, I was determined to stay connected to the congregation and community I served. Week after week, I searched for creative ways to encourage people during uncertain and emotionally heavy times.
What began with simple cellphone video messages and Facebook Live moments eventually grew into something much larger — a calling to speak life, hope, healing, encouragement, and strength not only to a local congregation, but to listeners everywhere.
Today, this podcast reaches people across cities, states, and countries with one consistent mission:
To help people feed their soul before they face their day.
Thank you for allowing this podcast to be part of your life journey. My prayer is that every episode leaves you stronger, wiser, more hopeful, and reminded that God is still present in your story.
with Love,
Jackie W.
