This prayer speaks to the moment after a hard decision has been made —the step you wrestled with, prayed over, and finally took. It acknowledges the quiet that follows obedience, when the noise fades and the question rises: “Now What?” Rather than rushing for answers, this prayer centers the heart in trust. It reminds listeners that making the move was not the end of the— it was the beginning. God is present, not only in the decision, but in what unfolds next. This is a prayer for steady faith, for calm in the unknown, and for the confidence that even when the path isn’t fully clear, you are not walking it alone.

This prayer is a call for anyone who feels stagnant, stuck, delayed, or uncertain about where they are currently. It reminds us that while waiting has its place, there comes a moment when movement, is required. “You Git To Move” encourages listeners to stop overthinking and release hesitation, and take intentional steps forward, it based upon feeling ready, but because progress does not come from standing still. It comes, when we decide “to move”.

This prayer centers on the quiet, but powerful decisions we make each day — especially in moments when life feels overwhelming or uncertain. It reminds us that while we cannot control everything around us, we can choose how we respond. Through intentional language and steady reflection, this prayer guides listeners to move from reaction to response, from chaos to clarity, and from fear to faith. Each choice becomes an act of strength.

This Sunday prayer creates a sacred pause before the start of a new week. It invites listeners to step out of the noise, the movement, and the weight of everything they have carried and dealt with — and simply rest in the presence of God. Instead of striving or preparing, this moment is about acknowledging that God has been sustaining us all along. In stillness, we remember we are held, cared for, and are never alone. Before anything new begins, we pause to receive the peace that is already ours.

This gentle Saturday prayer invites up you to step into this day without pressure, urgency, or strain. It is a moment to slow your pace, quiet your thoughts, and embrace the simple gifts often overlooked in a busy life. Rather than striving or pushing, this prayer encourages a softer rhythm — one where presence replaces pressure and peace replaces hurry. It reminds us that not every day is meant for heavy lifting, some days are meant for breathing, noticing, and simply being. Today, we receive the gift of ease and move through the day with calm and quiet grace.

Letting go is one of the hardest yet most necessary steps in growth. We often hold on to what is familiar — even when it is painful, limiting, or no longer aligned with who we are becoming. This prayer reminds us that release is not loss, but preparation. When God calls us to let go of old mindsets, past hurts, and spaces that no longer serve us, it is because something greater is ahead. As we loosen our grip on what was, we make room for peace, growth, and new opportunities. Letting go is how we move forward into the life God is preparing for us.

Sometimes doors close in ways that feel abrupt, painful, or even unfair. Relationships shift, opportunities end, and spaces we once trusted no longer hold us. Yet, while one door may close loudly, God often works in a quieter way — opening new spaces, new paths, and new possibilities we could not yet see. In this prayer we are called to trust God.

This prayer reminds us that the best parts of life are not behind us — they are still being revealed. Even if life has been heavy, uncertain, or delayed in certain aspects, there is still goodness ahead waiting to be experienced. Because “sweetness” is not a memory. It is still unfolding, right now!

Sometimes we find ourselves in spaces where we are overlooked, limited, or made to feel smaller than who God created us to be. In this prayer, we reflect on the life of Joseph and the truth that what others try to place over us as a ceiling, is never the full measure of what God has prepared for us. This prayer reminds us that human boundaries cannot override divine purpose. What feels like restriction may actually be redirection, and what tries to hold us down cannot stop what God has already set in motion. The “ceiling is not your sky.”

This prayer invites listeners to reflect on the evidence of God’s faithfulness in their lives. When fear and discouragement try to re-write the story, this prayer encourages us to “check the receipts” — to remember the many ways God has already shown up, provided healing, and sustained us. By recalling God’s past faithfulness, our faith is strengthened for the present moment.

THE STORY BEHIND THE PODCAST:
The vision for “Words For The Soul, Food For The Heart” was born during the Covid-19 pandemic — during a season when the world slowed down, church doors closed, and many people found themselves searching for hope, comfort, strength, and connection. As a pastor, I was determined to stay connected to the congregation and community I served. Week after week, I searched for creative ways to encourage people during uncertain and emotionally heavy times.
What began with simple cellphone video messages and Facebook Live moments eventually grew into something much larger — a calling to speak life, hope, healing, encouragement, and strength not only to a local congregation, but to listeners everywhere.
Today, this podcast reaches people across cities, states, and countries with one consistent mission:
To help people feed their soul before they face their day.
Thank you for allowing this podcast to be part of your life journey. My prayer is that every episode leaves you stronger, wiser, more hopeful, and reminded that God is still present in your story.
with Love,
Jackie W.
