At the end of chapter 5, the author feels the need to pause the discussion about Christ as our High Priest according to the order of Melchizedek and offer a rebuke to his audience. He points out that many of them were still eating the "milk" of the word, and should have grown to be eating the "meat". In other words, they were remaining at the same level of maturity as when they heard the gospel the first time. By now, they should have been teachers, yet they still needed to be taught the basics. He continues with this rebuke and gives them a warning that if they continue to stagnate they will be at risk to wither and turn away from Christ.

Hey everyone! Just a quick update and an apology. With my daughter getting married this last weekend, it turned out to be much crazier than I anticipated. With all of the family in town, and things to do AFTER the wedding, my time has been taken up and I had to postpone.

We are very excited to have a new son-in-law and to have our daughter move into that next phase in her life.
