Have you heard about the Goat Yoga craze that is sweeping the nation? It’s not Goats doing yoga, but it’s people doing yoga with goats. Lainey Morse of Oregon first began introducing goats into a yoga class when a friend who was a yoga instructor suggested that her farm would be a great place to have a class. She said the goats are perfect therapy animals because they are so unintimidating and cuddly.
It didn’t take long for the idea to catch on and now people are lining up from all over the country just to do yoga with goats. There’s nothing like striking a yoga pose with a baby goat laying on your back. The dewlap is a small fleshy appendage that hangs down near the throat area of a goat and a wasty is a goat that is too fat. In France, goats are called chevons. Did you know that while sheep say baaah, goats say maaah!
