In this episode, I dive answer 3 questions by students who are considering/studying engineering which will be a biweekly series entitled My $0.02.
r/EngineeringStudents is a subreddit community on Reddit and it is a space for students who are interested in or are currently pursuing engineering to ask questions and get help on Resumes, career advice, and anything related to engineering. This online community is a great resource for students who are interested in STEM. I am frequently on this subreddit and decided to select three questions to answer that were posted in a recent forum.
These questions are submitted by students and involve: (1) is Mechanical Engineering a realistic degree?(2) what real world experience should I get in Electrical Engineering if I have zero internships? (3) which engineering major should I pursue?

Similar to the resume, cover letters should be no more than one page in length and should concise and straight to the point. In this episode, I walkthrough a cover letter from top to bottom and show you how can write an effective cover letter that people will want to read.
