Budding scientists and physics fans of all ages are welcome this Friday night for a fun and free event from 17:00 - 23:00.
Come and build a particle detector (from 12 years old) and program robots (from 7 years old), visit CERN’s first particle accelerator, the Synchrocyclotron, or take a virtual reality tour of the CMS detector and Data Centre!
The guides for this science extravaganza will be CERN's own enthusiastic researchers.
Film screenings take place in the Globe of Science and Innovation, including a feature film about CERN, “Almost Nothing: CERN Experimental City”, an award winner at the last Nyon Visions du Réel film festival. Director Anna de Manincor will be present to share her experience and answer any questions.
Food trucks will be there to fill the hunger in your belly. CERN has plenty on hand to fill your hunger for knowledge.
