Michael McKay's guest is Edward Girardet. A journalist, writer and producer who for almost forty years has reported widely from humanitarian conflict zones in Africa and Asia and other parts of the globe for some of the world’s most prestigious journals.

He is also the Editor-in-Chief of a very worthy, new, English-language magazine venture in Geneva called “Global Geneva” .

Richard Amacker was on his first pair of skis at the age of 2. He spent 16 years as an alpine skier, but admits it bored him a bit, so he tried his hand at freeriding.

In his very first Freeride World Tour, Rich won his first victory in Courmayer, qualified for the Xtreme of Verbier and won Rookie Award of the Year. That was all 5 years ago. Rich has continued competing and diversified into working in film and documentaries.

We caught up with Rich about what he prefers when it comes to the competitions or filmmaking, but also, we spoke about what draws him back to Nendaz...

John Carroll Lynch has had his directorial debut with LUCKY, starring Harry Dean Stanton, David Lynch and Beth Grant.

LUCKY follows the spiritual journey of a 90-year-old atheist and the quirky characters that inhabit his off the map desert town. Having outlived and out smoked all of his contemporaries, the fiercely independent Lucky finds himself at the precipice of life, thrust into a journey of self exploration, leading towards that which is so often unattainable: enlightenment. Acclaimed character actor John Carroll Lynch's directorial debut, "Lucky", is at once a love letter to the life and career of Harry Dean Stanton as well as a meditation on mortality, loneliness, spirituality, and human connection.
