An unmissable night of English stand-up from Switzerland's most exciting new expat comedy talent.

Here's the line-up:

Benjamin Delahaye - Benjamin was born in France. While not cutting heads off royalties or inventing a vaccine against rabies, he performs comedy around the world and publishes children's books on Kindle.

What Andreas Krauer lacks in a sense of purpose, he makes up for with his sense of humor. Dry, witty and a few parts macabre, he draws inspiration from his lackluster social life, and the stream of awkward situations it has become. Self-effacing observational humor and existential autobiographical nonsense are where Andreas’s reality, comically collides.

Nadim - Since early childhood, he has felt at home on stage. His passion: to make people laugh by re-examining society's shortcomings! The public discovered Nadim in 2013 on the Open Stage of the Swiss Comedy Club, he never left the stage since.

Sue Nicol - Sue is an American Ex-Pat (her name was Patrick before the surgery), living in Switzerland since 1998! She thought she was only staying for a year, but then she discovered Raclette.

Jack Roberts - Jack came to Zurich to be a hausmann supporting his wife whilst she went to work, making him a progressive, energetic super-dad and hero of a man. He turned out to be none of those things, and to numb the pain Jack turned to stand-up comedy, choosing to subject himself to the ridicule of strangers just to get out of putting the kids to bed.

From Texas by way of New York City, Clinton Stargill, is a Geneva-based stand up comedian. He is the founder the Geneva Stand Up Comedy Club and runs weekly meetups for comedians and a monthly open mic night.

Ri Versteegh - There is no guarantee that you will see Ri do the same thing twice, even on the same night if you sit through a second show, but at the end of the evening you’ll be glad you were born with a different mind and that this woman is not in your bedroom at night.

Michael McKay speaks to Dr. Michael Kimmel, the distinguished academic and Professor of Sociology at Stony Brook University in New York; and the founder and editor of the academic journal Men and Masculinities. Professor Kimmel is the author of many well-known books like Angry White Men and the best seller Guyland: The Perilous World Where Boys Become Men.

The UK’s ‘Guardian’ newspaper described Kimmel as “the world’s most prominent male feminist”.

The Blue Man Group are performing in Lausanne at the Theatre du Beaulieu until this Sunday with their eclectic show of music, performance, comedy and drama. Hansine Johnston caught up with the Creative Director of the World Tour and ex Blue Man David Bray to find out more and asked him to describe the show

Dr Michelle discusses 'Aussie flu' and what we can do to protect against it.

Joe McMahon is a former British Army Captain. During operations in Iraq, he struggled to understand the misfortune brought on by war to poverty-stricken communities, which compelled him to write.

He has been passionate about understanding the reality around him, both philosophically and scientifically, since he was a young man. Aided by a number of university professors, he has thoroughly researched the neuroscience, AI and quantum computing contained in The Face of God so that any scientist in those fields would recognise the cutting-edge theories of famous thinkers such as Alan Turing, David Deutsch and Max Tegmark.

He now lives in the Swiss Alps and maintains an avid interest in adventure and collecting stories from around the globe.

Here he speaks with Hansine about his new book and gives tips for anyone interested in self-publishing.
