As a daughter of immigrant parents and the first generation to be born in the US, I think it's important to discuss some of the topics that are a part of many conversations today such as: women's rights, immigration reform and LGBT rights. All opinions are my own and are intended to encourage people to have similar conversations wherever they are in order to better understand why and how other individuals think the way they do. From entrepreneurship being part of the latin culture, to family members that are gay/lesbian, the stories in this interview are told from my personal perspective.
