Today I will review the recent on-air fund drive- ‘Strings Attached’ and also give a transmitter update.
I will talk a bit about the establishment of a WPKN Inc. endowment fund aimed to help our long-tern sustainability. The WPKN Inc. endowment fund is being established with the Fairfield County Community Foundation thanks to a gift we received from the estate of a listener. The FCCF manages more than $160 million in assets for hundreds of nonprofits and donor advised funds.
My guests will include Suzanne Kachmar, owner City Lights Gallery and the founder of the Bridgeport Arts Trail that kick’s off tonight with a party at Read’s Art Space and goes through Sunday. This is the 9th Annual Bridgeport Arts Trail
I will also talk in the studio with Suzanne Cahill the President of the newly renovated and re-openned nonprofit WALL STREET THEATER in Norwalk, CT.
