  • Could The World Be On The Brink Of World War Three?
It is no joke to say the world could be on the eve of destruction: World War Three. The world is faced with wars and strifes all over. The one that could have an everlasting impact on the entire world is the Russian illegal invasion of its democratic neighbor, Ukraine where Moscow's bombs are falling on many cities killing hundreds.
Host Garnett Ankle starts this broadcast speaking on the conflict in Ukraine started by Russia. Garnett also speaks on United States lack of moral authority to criticize any nation for illegally invading another. He points out some of United States' illegal activities in other countries around the world. Garnett also says those past wrongs of the United States does not make it right for Russia to invade Ukraine.
Listen to Garnett's interesting commentary and your telephone calls.

I have been interested in Black Garlic ever since two fans of DITD Anne and Jim suggested I check out Black Garlic and do a show about it .Then my friend and colleague, the sorely missed Guy Beardsley, gave me two heads of Black garlic when I bought seed garlic from him for my garden a while back and I've been hooked ever since. Now I have finally found someone to talk to about Black Garlic with me, That's why these self described food lovers and Black Garlic makers Kayla Burton and Greg Lesson are here today.

  • Erin Kelly, co-author, with artist Winfred Rembert, of "Chasing Me To My Grave"
An interview with Erin Kelly, Professor of Philosophy at Tufts University, and co-author of "Chasing Me To My Grave: An Artist's Memoir Of The Jim Crow South."
The late Winfred Rembert was a New Haven-based artist and master storyteller, in both words and images
He documented his life with art, carving scenes from rural Georgia into leather. His sense of design, use of color, and ability to visually tell the story of the often-brutal American black experience have earned him comparisons with such renowned artists as Jacob Lawrence.
His autobiography features images of fishing in the culvert or dancing in the juke joint — but also of picking cotton, escaping a lynching, and working on the chain gang.
He didn't start his path as an artist until he was 52, but art transformed his life and brought his life story to national attention.
