Haddiyyah Ali shares her story of growing up in a Black Muslim family in the Hartford area, and she speaks about the larger history and legacy of the Black Muslim Radical Tradition in the United States, as well as her own work as a co-founder of Abolition Ummah, a Muslim Women led organization in Connecticut that supports incarcerated Muslims and seeks abolition of all systems in the prison industrial complex.
