In tough times pray God's will be done, suffering now short vs eternity with God, don't do favors hoping for thanks in this life, Christ's enemies were never reasonable either, contemplate the future victory in Christ's teachings, accept difficulties with stronger heart, answer to trapped personality feeling is more work, after insults just imagine how much more they left unsaid, disciple follows Master toward cross/toil/anguish, don't fight external pressure but internal complicity.

Faith/hope/love are outlet valves for souls on fire, do all unselfishly, serve God as son without payment, Jesus repays generously 100 times over, seek joy in contempt - Jesus remains silent too, suffer injustice gladly, don't complain in suffering, never give opinion if not asked for it, have pity & don't pass judgment.

True virtue cheerful > disagreeable, rejoice whether things go badly or well, supernatural > physiological happiness, never lose heart, don't try inspiring others to follow Chris while rough/ridiculous/unfriendly, unhappiness from obstacles between you & God, cure for sadness = prayer, don't be gloomy, cheerfulness essential, let hearts that seek Yahweh rejoice.

Discretion & sacrifice work on you from the inside, virtue of the few, even Mary didn't communicate mystery with Saint Joseph, be quiet, discretion is powerful weapon for you, feel upsurge of indignation but respond with silence.

You won't regret remaining silent, don't ask others to keep a secret, discretion is naturalness, refining of spirit, slowly if ever reveal intimate details of apostolate, say nothing of your ideal, oh fruitful silence, be discreet, helps avoid bad conversation aftertaste, don't seek for understood - sacrifice unnoticed, keep check on your tongue, drive results in heaven - not photos/facts/figures on earth, other holy people don't have to understand your way.
