This week I've got something a little different for you in the form of a chat with the esteemed creator of an amazing art installation/basement passion-project; Richard Beardsley of VIDEO PLANT!

@Video.Plant is a wacky, nostalgia-soaked walk down memory lane to the VHS stores of yesteryear. A ‘sanctuary’ for one of the most eclectic & amazingly, lovingly curated VHS collections (& all sorts of rad personally commissioned artworks & general ephemera) that I’ve been lucky enough to have my art become a part of. In this one we have a really fun chat about how this all came about, Pro Wrestling VHS collecting, art curation (& creation), a variety of wonderful B-Grade, schlocky cult classic goodness & the passion the melds all of this together.

This wonderfully heated Lucha Libre FIGHT of a match took place back in 2008 at CMLL's 75th Anniversary Show in the holy grounds for lucha that is Arena Mexico. We chat all about this great match & Jon even provides translations of the touchingly emotional post-match unmasking ceremony. We also talk the general nonsense that has come to be expected.
