Episode 48; is here pals! Yes, our "Wrestling Art Curator" special is BACK already! That being our special-edition interview series focusing on the art practices of rad wrestling-artists! I'm bloody tickled to be chatting to an incredible Mexican Lucha Libre artist, Erik Jam!

I originally got to meet Erik through getting to be part of his & Luis Hernández' amazing Desde la Tercera Cuerda Lucha Libre group art exhibition at El Rule Comunidad in Mexico City. I've long been a fan of Erik's work so I was way pumped to finally get to talk to him all about it! Bright, bold, super-fun, maximalist & just totally jam-packed in the best of ways! We chat about how he originally chose to focus his art practice on Lucha Libre, the evolution of his style, influences, the magic of Lucha Libre, favourite masks & everything in between! As a lucha-loving Australian gringo, I had so much fun on this one!! Thank you Erik!!

Jonathan is an amazing Australian artist, writer, cartoonist, curator & the Director of the Rockhampton Museum of Art. He's most recently just wrapped up his latest solo show; A Truth, Fugitive And Imponderable in my home-town of Brisbane, Australia & we got to have a delightful in-person chat! We talk all about the show, some of the things that go into putting on a solo art exhibition, making art, wrestling-art, The Destroyer & all of the things! Two admittedly slightly different matches, but I think they have their strange similarities too! David & I have a blast talking all about the matches, the art & a lot of nonsense.
