NXT, due to a number of factors is no longer the upshot developmental brand that most fans found fresh and exciting. Besides destroying Ring of Honor as one of their competitors as a result, WWE has turned NXT into a neutered feeder system (with lots of bonified stars who already were stars in other promotions) that has a few prospects that might be capable of overcoming bad main roster creative to succeed.

WWE is now using NXT wrestlers as “fans” during TV tapings. Most fans were happy to see wrestlers serve as the audience during Monday’s episode of Raw and NXT instead of having no crowd noise while matches were taking place.

Investigators say a body, matching the description of the missing father, former WWE wrestling star Shad Gaspard, has washed ashore in Venice, California. He was swept away by a rip current while swimming with his 10 yr old son. Son was rescued by lifeguards.

This tragic incident happened when Gaspard was with his 10-year-old son and a group of swimmers. Gaspard told rescuers to take his son right before he was hit with the riptide. Gaspard was declared missing by police after it happened.

On Monday, the U.S. Coast Guard suspended its search efforts for his body that lasted nearly 24-hours.

People.com reported WWE superstar Becky Lynch confirmed that she and fiancé Seth Rollins are expecting their first child together.

Matt Cardona opens up about the WWE Bubble. Saying, “It’s just crazy. I would love…I never had the chance to wrestle in the ECW Arena. I wrestled in Japan for WWE but never really got to go there and experience the culture for like weeks at a time. There’s so many things I want to do, of course there’s AEW, Ring of Honor, IMPACT there’s so many options now.”

“I think, for so long, like I was just in the WWE bubble. But now I need to just realize that I can do whatever I want. That feeling is just, oh my god, that feeling of freedom? That feeling of having that creative freedom? Just before I got released I was already making my Pro Wrestling Tees store so I knew during the call [to be released] that I was covered. I can’t wait to go out there and hustle and get my name out there. I have no problem doing the hard work, I love it. I love the hustle. It sounds cliche but I’m so excited to just do something different and try something different and hey, if I fail? It’s on me.”
