AEW Revolution Rules with great storylines chock full of emotion and tension. Meanwhile, WWE Super Showdown Sucks Up To the Saudis.
Jon Moxley defeated Chris Jericho to win the AEW World Championship. In other prominent matches, Kenny Omega and Adam Page defeated The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship, Nyla Rose defeated Kris Statlander to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship, MJF defeated Cody, and Jake Hager defeated Dustin Rhodes in Hager’s AEW in-ring debut.

In the main event, Goldberg defeated “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt to win his second Universal Championship, giving Wyatt’s Fiend character his first loss. Goldberg also became the first wrestler to win a world championship after being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Other prominent matches saw Brock Lesnar retain the WWE Championship against Ricochet, Bayley defeat Naomi to retain the SmackDown Women’s Championship, which was the first women’s championship match contested in the country, and Roman Reigns defeated King Corbin in a Steel Cage match. The Undertaker also made a surprise return as an unannounced entrant in the gauntlet match and lastly eliminated AJ Styles to win the Tuwaiq Trophy.

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is expanding its footprint on TNT. The upstart pro wrestling promotion has signed a new multi-year deal with TNT that will keep it on the air through 2023.
