Wrestling With My Girl

Today we're discussing a slightly off edition of NXT TakeOver from Toronto. The goods were still delivered--Io Shirai and Candice LeRae that is--but the show lacked its usual shine. After the break we run through SummerSlam on the clock style.

Today we're talking about NJPW's G1 Climax nights six through fourteen. The "G" should stand for "grind" because it is real! We go through match of the night, notables, and some more in depth convo about a few performers. After the break we run through a little TakeOver Toronto preview.

We're back after another little break as our summer of activity continues. Today we're catching up on WWE's Extreme Rules, AEW's Fight for The Fallen, and NJPW's G1 nights 2 through 5. In a different format, we breaking it all down using a ten (or so) minute countdown to keep us (like RAW), rolling on!

Back from a long break, we're talking NJPW's G1 Climax kickoff show from Dallas. We were able to attend the show so you'll get some "live" show notes throughout the episode. Topics include: live crowd, Cobb's and others statures, what's the point of Yoshi-Hashi, Juice's potential for a Never division role, and of course all the G1 tournament matches from night one of A block.

Today we're talking about New Japan's summer kick off show, Dominion.

It was a pretty good show overall with some great matches. Topics include: Shota and Mox as buddies, NJ's pathetic tag team division, Ospreay/Dragon Lee, the unnecessary risks of Naito/Ibushi, and of course the main event of Jericho/Okada.

Today we're talking about NXT's 25th TakeOver special. Riddle/Strong kicked the night off with a great match, Kyle O'Reilly shined during the tag team ladder bout, Tyler Breeze made his in-ring return, and keeping with tradition Gargano goes thirty minutes in the main event.

Today we're talking about AEW's first ever show, Double or Nothing. If you like tag team wrestling then this was a show for you with four great to outstanding tag team matches. The Cody/Dusty segment and match was incredible and the crowd fueled the show all night. AEW has shown a lot of moxie and the light on pro wrestling just got brighter.

Today we're discussing WWE's 2019 Money In The Bank network special. We dole out praise for AJ/Seth, what the men put their bodies through in the MITB match, Samoa Joe's knack for bleeding, a few other things but then run out as the show was overall not so money.

Nearing the end of the line with our WrestleManias, we're back in 2012 with number 28 and a main event of John Cena vs The Rock. It was a three (should have been four, sorry Daniel Bryan) match show with good stuff between Punk/Jericho, Taker/HHH, and the already mentioned main event.

After the break we talk about night one of New Japan's best of Super Juniors tournament.
