We're bringing you a Wriinkle Short this week while we have a short break in our usual podcast proceedings. 

So many people have listened to #014 and sent so many messages of support, questions and feedback to both us and Zach.

One of the parts that seemed to resonate with so many of you was where Zach was talking about when he first managed to foster a Flicker (small contraction) in his thigh by consciously trying to send signals from his brain to his legs.

Off the back of that we’ve been talking to Zach about Neuroplasticity and looking into what it’s all about and how is can be harnessed to create positive changes to your brain and it’s function.

I’m no expert so this is purely an introduction for those of you that haven’t got round to looking into neuroplasticity.

This is the 3rd of our 3 Barcelona podcasts. It feels like a particularly important one for us becuase we're speaking to our mate Zach.

Zach is an athlete and he's currently preparing for the London Marathon. Doing a marathon is a huge deal for anyone but in Zach's case it holds extra significance.

In 2012 Zach was on a coach that crashed on the way back to Liverpool from Bestival on the Isle of Wight. As a result he suffered a severe spinal injury - in short; a severed spinal cord.

Zach tells us in detail how he has gone from being repeatedly told by doctors that there was no way he would walk again to completing a half marathon on his feet and in a position where he's training for a full marathon.

This is the first of a 3 episode series recorded while we were in Barcelona. It was great to get over there and experience the culture, explore new ideas and meet some really cool, interesting people.

For this episode, we're sitting down with Joel Jaggar and Gill Siddle who took the plunge and left their 9-5 lives in London to move to Barcelona and concentrate on running their club night - Love Come Down.

Love Come Down is a disco fuelled night where the focus is purely on the music and atmosphere - Gill & Joel started off throwing a New Years Eve party and caught the bug from there. They've now run 20 LCD nights (so far) and are hitting music festivals this summer.

In this episode we’re so happy to bring you a conversation with Erin Corrian-Alexis. Erin is an artist and Product Designer but her main thing is creating amazing footwear. We went and met her for this podcast at a small studio that she's working out of in East London. At the moment she’s spending evenings and weekends there creating shoes for a London Fashion Week show. She does all of this around her day job where she’s also gaining valuable fashion industry knowledge.

Erin’s attitude and vibe is just boss and we all hit it off off right away when we met her just a few weeks before recording this. Just want to say a massive thank you to Erin for letting us pop in and speak to her, we had a great time.

Whereas Apple is still at an early stage where she's working out where she actually wants to take things and how she's going to do it. Plus, like everyone we speak to, she's just enjoying the process and we got the impression that it is all about the journey and not the destination for her.
