  • S2 Ep 1: “how to not get tied up in the details”

    I love hearing from you,

In this weeks episode I wanted to answer the question of  “how to not get tied up in the details.” I have heard this question enough to know that even I am sometimes guilty of too much details. I also wanted to answer the question of how to add details when you don't have enough. Of course as always I share my 2 cents but I am always interested to hear what you all think. What do you do to not "get tied up in the details?”

  • S1 EP 4: “What to do when writing a short story”

This weeks episode was another audience write in. My audience member wanted to know “What to do when writing a short story.” Truth be told, I love writing short stories but the thing to do when writing short stories is to not take it's shortness for granted. Sometimes making things short and sweet can be challenging. Trying to develop a story in a way where the audience feels connected in a short amount of time takes time and practice.

  • S1 EP 3: “How long does it take to write a book?”

Did I mention that I love hearing from you? This weeks episode was an audience write in and they want to know “How long does it take to write a book?” This was a very tricky one because there is no hard and fast rule when it comes to writing a book especially as an independent author. Some authors take days, while others take years. The idea is to not get caught up in how long and focus on actually get started. Let me know what you think in the comments below?

Hello Future Published Authors, this week's episode on,“How to get inspired to write” was a fun one. I find that inspiration comes in different ways.
